Penetration testing is a type of security assessment that involves identifying vulnerabilities in computer systems or networks. This is done by simulating attacks from outside sources (such as hackers) to see how well they would fare against the system.
SecurIT360 performs tests following The Penetration Testing Execution Standard, and supplements with other methodologies from The Open-Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM), OWASP Web Testing Guide, as well as our own experience and understanding which is then tailored to the specific needs of the client and engagement. We have an arsenal of tools and methods to use as the test develops.
In a penetration test, we utilize advanced skillsets and knowledge to perform further, more technical, and manual testing of systems. We attempt to exploit systems and attempt to determine the true risk of discovered vulnerabilities.
